China's supply and demand for migrant workers

In order to better understand the demand for and supply of migrant workers by companies, MOLSS carried out an investigation before the 2010 spring festival.

A questionnaire conducted by the Chinese government covering 26 middle sized cities in 13 provinces, 90 towns in 27 provinces, 3239 enterprises and 9081 migrant workers, revealed that:
