Ethical supply chain concerns at IAF conference

iafHONG KONG - Discussions over ethical production practices and global price issues dominated the 26th International Apparel Federation’s World Apparel Convention, writes Carlijn Linscheer, CSR textile.com, in Hong Kong.

Key players from across the industry admitted a lack of homogenised ethical manufacturing practices but outlined measures that had been taken to help improve the environmental aspects of apparel supply chains.
