Growing greenwashing problem ‘almost comical’, report

greenwashATLANTA – False eco-labelling is increasing dramatically in the North American consumer goods market to ‘almost comical’ levels, according to a new report.

The report, The Sins of Greenwashing, Home and Family Edition, released by environmental marketing firm TerraChoice, said that while greenwashing’ is declining overall, false eco-labelling is increasing dramatically - up 30.9% from 23.3% in 2009.
