MBDC collaborates with Taiwan research body

Written by Haydn Davis

cradleCHARLOTTESVILLE - McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry (MBDC), creator of Cradle to Cradle Certification program, has entered into a partnership with the Taiwan Textile Research Institute (TTRI).

The collaboration will see Cradle to Cradle Certification applied to textiles manufactured in Taiwan and other locations across Asia. Significantly, the partnership with the TTRI, a major research and development institute for textile technology and services, will see the certification applied to materials at their source, creating more environmentally positive materials and processes and hopefully, making safer textiles available to apparel companies around the world.
