Bangladeshi fashion beyond borders

Dhaka - Shahnaz sits in the corner of her (only) shop - one of the many recently sprung up boutique shops in north Dhaka - with a copy of Vogue magazine in her hands and a dream to follow. For Shahnaz it is more than a dream to one day have her fashion house featured in Vogue and see her interview and illustrations on the glossy magazine's pages. But how does one materialise this dream into reality? Is it at all possible, especially when she is working with indigenous materials and designs?
