WILMINGTON - DuPont is to buy enzyme biotechnology specialist Genencor as part of a US$6 billion deal to acquire its parent biotechnology company Danisco. The deal will give DuPont a strong position in the growing textile enzyme market where Genencor is a key, innovative player.
