RITE offers platform to innovators

Written by John Mowbray

RITELONDON – Once again, the influential not-for-profit RITE Group, which aims to reduce the impact of textiles on the environment, has made available a limited number of slots for either textile innovators or clothing brands who would like to apply to speak at its fifth annual conference on 12th October in London.

The RITE Group has also revealed a brand new logo to better reflect its aims of and objectives as a force for sustainable change in the global textiles and clothing sector. These changes will be integrated into a brand new web-site already under construction that will offer RITE supporters numerous, exciting new benefits together with a easy way to sign up for its London conference which has run since 2007.

The theme of this year’s conference will be transparency and will include breakout sessions on legislation and government, water and energy use, the cellulosic gap and cotton sourcing, metrics and transparency and green chemistry.

If you or your company would like to contribute to the RITE Group conference which takes place at Central Hall, Westminster, London on Wednesday 12th October 2011, please CLICK HERE to receive more details on how to apply.

The invitation for speakers by the RITE Group (Reducing the Impact of Textiles on the Environment) is designed to give smaller companies or individuals with unique eco-ideas or environmental products an international platform. It will allow new entrants into the eco-textile field a chance to talk about the challenges they have faced, put forward new ideas and share their knowledge with the wider industry and top brands who regularly attend the event.
