Patagonia files as benefit corporation

Patagonia_logoSACRAMENTO – US outdoor brand Patagonia has become the first company in California to elect ‘benefit corporation’ status, which means the company is legally required to have a corporate purpose to create a material positive impact on society and the environment along with transparent reporting and responsible financial obligations to its workers.
