SAN FRANCISCO - Levi Strauss & Co. has become the latest signatory to the brand joint roadmap  towards the zero discharge of hazardous chemicals. The formation of the roadmap followed Greenpeace’s ‘Detox’ report on the pollution of Chinese rivers by the textile industry. Levi Strauss now joins other well known brands such as adidas Group, C&A, H&M, Li Ning, Nike, Puma, and G-Star that have also committed to zero discharge of hazardous chemicals in their supply chains by 2020.
