Researchers explore mulesing alternative

SYDNEY - Researchers in Australia have described initial trials of a skin treatment as a mulesing alternative for merino sheep as ‘promising’. First announced by Cobbett Technologies in 2009, Skintraction is still in the early research and development phase but is said to be showing some encouraging results for both breech modification and welfare.
