LILLE – With the concept of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) increasingly to the fore, a new report has been launched that highlights textile recycling in the French market – one of the few in the world where EPR legislation has already been passed. Offering a run-down of how textiles recycling programmes and new sorting technology are shaking up the industry, it aims to provide a potential blueprint for other ‘Closed loop’ initiatives in the global textile supply chain.
