Congo workersCONGO - A new report on the use of conflict materials sourced from the Democratic Republic of Congo has revealed that the apparel and footwear industry has made “little to no progress” on ensuring its supply chain is free from exploitively mined tin, tantalum, tungsten or gold which can be found in buckles, zippers, fasteners, buttons, PVC materials found in the soles of shoes and in any clothing components that are soldered.
