TE remains upbeat on US organic cotton

Cotton budTEXAS – Textile Exchange head La Rhea Pepper is confident the organic cotton ‘brand’ won’t suffer any long-term damage in the wake of the recent Organic Trade Association report, which showed that severe drought conditions caused organic cotton production in the US to plunge by 45 per cent in 2011.
