ShoppersWASHINGTON – University students in the US are willing to pay a 25 per cent premium for an organic cotton t-shirt over a conventionally produced cotton equivalent – provided their parents are doing the buying. That’s a key finding of a recent pilot study funded by the WSU Agricultural Research Centre, which found that participants who pay for their own clothing were not willing to pay a premium.
