PAKISTAN –A new report into recent garment factory fires in Bangladesh and Pakistan, published in-part by worker rights’ campaign group The Clean Clothes Campaign, has claimed that major retailers and auditors were aware of safety risks throughout the supply chain, and had failed to make recommended changes prior to the fires, which collectively killed almost 450 textile workers.
