BREMEN – ICA Bremen and testing house Impetus Bioscience have signed a partnership to launch a new cotton DNA testing service, which aims to identify textiles that are made of genetically modified cotton. However, there is still some debate about whether genetic material from GM cotton would show up in heavily processed fabrics and garments. John Mowbray reports.
