GREENSBORO – US synthetic yarn supplier Unifi, Inc. has acquired nine DTY (drawn textured yarn) machines, along with a sampling machine, as it increases capacity at its Yadkinville US production facility to support regional volume growth of its premium value added yarns, including its successful ‘Repreve’ recycled polyester range. The company now expects to grow its premier value added yarn capacity by 20 per cent per year.
