BANGLADESH – A Bangladesh barrister has called for a new monitoring forum for garment workers to be established, which will bring together legal experts and factory inspectors to ensure the Labour Act 2006 is correctly implemented, and that instances of non-compliance from factory workers are dealt with by the courts.
