Debate intensifies over unified textiles label

labels logoBERLIN – The notion of a single, unified label for textiles covering environmental and social standards has shifted up the political agenda in Germany after H&M’s CEO Karl-Johan Persson said he envisioned “a global generic label for the [textile] industry … similar to the fair-trade label on coffee.”
