Taiwan textile sector continues growth

TEPPTAIPEI - Taiwan’s burgeoning textiles and apparel export sector was valued at US $ 11.82 billion in 2012 and made a trade surplus of US $ 8.5 billion according latest figures from the Taiwan Export Promotion Project (TEPP). The sector is increasingly using sustainability and technical excellence to differentiate itself from low cost, low value competitors in the Far East.
