ICAC aims to ‘seize initiative’ on sustainability

CARTAGENA – Metrics for sustainability in cotton farming was a key theme of the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC) meeting in Colombia which drew to a close last week. Inter-fibre competition, the role of women in cotton farming and the problems of government policy distorting cotton prices were also on the agenda.
