Leading PET recycler invests €5m

wellmanMULLAGH – Europe’s largest PET recycler, Irish company Wellman International, has announced a €5m facility upgrade as the first phase of plans to invest in new technologies over the next 3-4 years. The business, a subsidiary of Indorama Ventures plc, processes more than 2.2 billion post-consumer PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) bottles annually to make high quality polyester staple fibres for textiles and nonwovens.
