Unifi boosts recycled polyester production

Unifi_repreveNORTH CAROLINA – After US yarn producer Unifi reported recent market growth in the Americas region (see this month’s printed issue), the company has expanded its Repreve Recycling Center capacity from 42 million pounds per annum to 72 million pounds of yarn per year as it looks to grow its speciality offering of synthetic yarns and moves away from commodity polyester.
