Dye prices: time for brands to share the burden?

dyeBRUSSELS – The leader of the European textile trade body Euratex has warned that the “unprecedented” rise in textile dyestuff prices represents a major threat to the European textile industry in a speech which once again raises the question of whether brands should start carrying some of the burden of ongoing dye price rises to help fund a more sustainable textiles industry.
