Disney invests in textile laser technology

Lasered denimWESTLAKE – Laser technology company RevoLaze, which adds a worn or patterned look to denim textiles without the environmental and social hazards of sandblasting, has received new investment from the Disney family investment company.

Roy P Disney, the grandson of Walt Disney's brother, Roy O. Disney, who helped start the Walt Disney Co., has invested in the laser technology firm and joined the RevoLaze board. The investment was made via Shamrock Holdings Inc, the Disney family’s investment company.
