Seed supply hampers organic cotton

COTTONWAKEFIELD - Seed supply has been a major issue in the organic cotton sector for a while, whether it be dependence on seeds used in conventional farming or contamination risks from Biotech cotton grown in the same country. At the same time, seed research, breeding and multiplication are in serious decline in many countries. By Simon Ferrigno.
