Testing chemical added to SVHC

testing chemicalsHELSINKI – The European Chemicals Agency has added sodium perborate, a chemical widely used in colour-fastness tests for textiles to the REACH candidate list as a substance of very high concern (SVHC). The decision could have considerable implications for the industry if test methodologies need to be changed because new alternative substances are required.
