Bayer launches sustainable PU range

Written by Brett Mathews

LEVERKUSIN - Bayer MaterialScience has launched its new generation of more sustainable polyurethane (PU) coated textile materials with a solution called Insqin, in a move which it claims will be “a game changing solution for the textile value chain.” Insqin uses waterborne polyurethane technology instead of potentially polluting solvents and is part of Bayer’s drive to replace PU-based textile coatings and artificial leather with a more sustainable option.
