MUNICH – Technical fabric brand W.L. Gore has published the results of a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) on a pair of Gore-Tex hiking boots, which evaluates their environmental impact in terms of water resistance, breathability and durability. The LCA suggests that a product’s lifespan is the most influential factor in improving the environmental impact of both footwear and clothing.
