LONDON – UK retailers, including Primark, Marks and Spencer, and Debenhams are being targeted by NGOs this Christmas in a campaign to persuade more retailers to “make the right moral decision” and pay the living wage. The ‘Stop Scrooging’ campaign will see Associated British Foods – Primark’s parent company – quizzed on the matter at its shareholder meeting this week.
