How green is the polyester supply chain?

GUILDFORD - New research from the PCI Consulting Group suggests there is a distinct environmental profile among the different global petrochemical plants that feed directly into the polyester textile chain when different regions, countries - and even individual assets are taken into account. The research has implications for global brand owners and retailers which often depend on a low cost source of products out of China and, as such, require a good understanding of how 'green' China's polyester supply chain is at the front end.
