Written by Brett Mathews

FRIEDRICHSHAFEN - The European Outdoor Group has announced that Rolf Schmid (president) and Bernd Kullmann (vice-president) have stepped down from their respective positions with immediate effect following what the EOG said was "faster progress in achieving the key objectives they agreed ahead of the transition to a new leadership team." John Jansen of Keen Europe has been elected as the new EOG president while Jean-Marc Pambet of Salomon is appointed vice president. The news was announced as this year's European Outdoor summit kicked-off this week in Friedrichshafen.
