Sustainable plasma-treated machine washable wool

FRIEDRICHSHAFEN – A new plasma-based easy-care treatment for machine-washable wool textiles, which avoids the use of chlorine-based chemicals for shrink-proofing is set to change early stage wool processing. The new innovation from the Südwolle Group recently received the Outdoor Industry Gold Award 2015 in the category of ‘Sustainable Innovators’ at the OutDoor show in Germany.
