AMSTERDAM - The International Finance Corporation is to scale up its China Water Program – which works with brands such as Primark and IKEA to cut water use in the country's textile industry – after announcing some impressive results from the first two years. These include driving more than US $50 million in capital investment into water-saving projects, achieving US $18 million savings in operating costs annually due to reduced resource use, and saving nine million tons of water due. 50 demonstration projects have been developed as part of the program.
