German Minister rallying call to apparel brands

BERLIN – In an exclusive interview with Ecotextile News, Germany's Development Minister Dr Gerd Müller has this week issued a powerful rallying call to western apparel consumers and apparel brands. He said: "We will not tolerate that a garment worker in Bangladesh ... cannot afford to feed her family or send her children to school from the money she earns making clothes for us."
