STOCKHOLM - Indian textile manufacturer Pratibha Syntex has been awarded the 2015 Global Leadership Award in Sustainable Apparel (GLASA) for its technical innovation and leadership in water saving and sustainability. GLASA chose water as its theme for 2015, on the basis that "for certain regions access to water and water quality will be a major problem for both people and the apparel industry during the next twenty years if nothing is done to ensure sustainable water management."
