ZDHC update puts focus on implementation

Written by Brett Mathews

AMSTERDAM – The Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Group said it will focus on implementation in four key focus areas moving forwards as it announced its latest update. The Group, whose members include Nike, Puma, M&S and Burberry, will focus implementing the Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL), engaging with academia and the industry to encourage research into the development of safer alternatives and to conduct research on priority chemicals, harmonising the ZDHC audit tool with the Sustainable Apparel Coalition and the development of wastewater quality guidelines.
