Pakistan opens sustainable textile centre

KARACHI - A delegation from the German government this week visited representatives from Pakistan's beleaguered textile industry to inaugurate a newly established Sustainable Production Centre (SPC). The 10-member German delegation was led by Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry for Economic Co-operation and Development (BMZ), Thomas Silberhorn, all of whom visited the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) where the new facility will be based.
