LEVERKUSIN - Isotex Engineering and Covestro – formerly Bayer Materials Science – have launched a joint venture to develop and market technologies for polyurethane (PU) synthetics, technical textiles, films and foams based on Insqin waterborne polyurethane technology. Insqin uses waterborne polyurethane technology instead of potentially polluting solvents and is part of Covestro's drive to replace PU-based textile coatings and artificial leather with a more sustainable option.
