CALIFORNIA – US outdoor brand The North Face has responded to the recent Greenpeace report on PFCs in outdoor clothing, saying it continues work to transition to non-fluorinated DWR alternatives but has not yet found enough "commercially viable, scalable non-fluorinated solutions that meet the our performance criteria or the needs of our consumers across our entire product range." The world's largest clothing retailer, Inditex, has also confirmed to Ecotextile News that all of its clothing, shoes and accessories are now free from any use of PFCs in the production process, in line with its Greenpeace Detox commitments.
