Adidas exceeds sustainable cotton target

HERZOGENAURACH – German sportswear giant adidas has announced that in 2015 it sourced 43 per cent of its cotton as Better Cotton, thus exceeding its planned 40 per cent target. The adidas Group has committed to source 100 per cent of cotton across all product categories in all brands as 'sustainable cotton' by 2018, and 2015 marked the highest volume in sustainable cotton used in the company's history.
