BRUSSELS – The world's largest clothing retailer, Inditex, used a high level conference on garment supply chains organisaed by the European Commission this week to expend its labour relations framework agreement with Industriall Global Union. The new agreement will see designated union experts within the retail group's supplier clusters in its core garment-producing regions to monitor, supervise and accompany its suppliers worldwide. The first framework agreement of this kind will be established in the Turkey cluster.
