HONG KONG – Quality assessment specialist, Bureau Veritas, has launched a new IT platform, BVE3, to support its chemical discharge monitoring business. The tool is aimed at helping textile chemical businesses to reduce their environmental impacts and will see factories uploading chemical information to BVE3 on a monthly basis so they can better understand their "daily and weekly discharge potentials." The goal is also to reduce reliance on the one time screening of materials, chemicals and discharge.
