ZURICH - Textile certification business, Oeko-Tex, has announced that Sciessent, a leading provider of antimicrobial solutions for the textile and apparel industries, has become the first US company to receive the new Eco Passport certification for sustainable textile chemicals. The Eco Passport is an holistic approach of chemical validation in order to maximise security within textile production chain. Eco Passport certified chemicals are approved for use in Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified products and STeP by Oeko-Tex certified production facilities.
