DHAKA - Global apparel businesses have now severed ties with 113 ready-made-garment (RMG) businesses due to their failure to carry out required remediation work following inspections by the US-based Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety and its European counterpart, the Accord on Fire and Building Safety in Bangladesh in the wake of the Rana Plaza disaster.
