Patagonia develops its own wool standard

CALIFORNIA – US outdoor brand Patagonia has developed its own wool standard which adopts the provisions of the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) as a baseline for animal welfare but also goes beyond these criteria by including specific animal welfare provisions and more robust auditing processes. Patagonia is also advocating that future versions of the RWS adopt stricter guidelines pertaining to auditing in relation to animal welfare.
