BEIJING - An undercover investigation into Chinese clothing manufacturers which supply to GAP, H&M, and Zara has revealed what the investigators claim to be a "remarkable disparity between [the brands'] supplier CSR Policies and the reality in their Chinese supplier factories." The findings, which claim excessive working hours, unsafe working conditions and a lack of worker representation, once again bring into question the effectiveness of factory auditing.
