DHAKA - Bangladesh's Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) has agreed to the establishment of a new body which will oversee the post-inspection safety activities in the country's ready-made garment (RMG) sector once the time-frame of western retailers' two safety platforms – the Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety and the The Accord on Fire and Building Safety in Bangladesh – ends. Both bodies were established with five-year timelines and will cease operations in 2018.
