TOKYO – A Japanese textile recycling specialist has developed a break through process to produce a new option for chemically recycling polyester into textiles and fabrics using post-consumer clothing. The new technology, which is different from existing polyester recycling technology, will secure raw textile materials from its partners in Japan such as the corporate retail group Aeon and Ryohin Keikaku – the brand owner of multiple channel retailer Muji.
