ISLAMABAD - A panel of researchers and scientists discussed ways of reducing the water footprint of cotton during the third open session of the 75th Plenary Meeting of the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC). The issue was particularly pertinent for the host country, Pakistan, where 94 per cent of water withdrawals are for use in agriculture.
